APEX · MICROSOFT AUDIT
Comprehensive APEX Audit
Know your exposure. Prioritise risk. Act on evidence.
AVANTIQ APEX analyses Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure and the use of Artificial Intelligence to deliver a single view of your risks, strengths and improvement priorities.
The whole Microsoft environment, connected.
AVANTIQ APEX does not review services in isolation: it connects identity, collaboration, infrastructure, devices and AI to show how risks combine. Scope is agreed around the modules in your environment, and anything that cannot be verified is flagged.
01Entra ID
Identity, authentication and access governance.
- MFA and Conditional Access
- Roles, privileges and PIM

- Audit, data protection and Purview controls within scope
03Azure
Cloud infrastructure, permissions and operational controls.
- Subscriptions, RBAC and Azure Policy
- Defender for Cloud and security posture
- Storage, Key Vault and resource exposure
- Logging, monitoring and recovery controls

- Secure Score as supporting evidence, not the whole assessment
05AI and agents
How users work with AI agents and tools, and the information those tools can reach.
- Copilot and agents: licences, permissions and access scope
- Unsanctioned AI apps and third-party consents
- Exposure of sensitive data to AI tools
- Policies for governing, protecting and monitoring AI use
06Other modules
The broader ecosystem, with explicit boundaries.
- Power Platform and environment governance
- Fabric and Power BI: permissions and configuration
- Additional services present in the tenant
- Specific coverage confirmed in the proposal
DELIVERABLES
A report to decide. A roadmap to act.
Leadership gets clear priorities; technical staff get evidence and verifiable actions. One result for two audiences.
Executive overview
An overview of observed posture, relevant risks and decisions worth addressing.
Traceable findings
Strengths and weaknesses with scope, affected resources, technical evidence and validation limitations.
Per-finding assessment
Severity and scoring under the agreed methodology, distinct from vendor metrics.
Remediation roadmap
Recommended actions, priorities and estimated effort to organise improvement and ongoing maintenance.
DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE · NO CLIENT DATA
Every finding has context, not just an alert.
Assessment of the observed state within the agreed scope. It does not guarantee the absence of risks or certify compliance.

Before starting
What does the package include?
Automated assessment with APEX, analysis of the agreed scope, a findings report, remediation priorities and a results review. Modules, deliverables and the schedule are defined in the proposal.
Does the review include every Microsoft module?
The service takes an integrated view of the Microsoft environment, including Office 365, Entra ID and Azure. Each module and feasible check is confirmed before engagement; coverage is bounded by available licences, permissions and evidence.
Does the audit change the environment?
The audit focuses on assessment and evidence gathering. Permissions and execution conditions are agreed beforehand. Configuration changes and remediation are outside the diagnostic scope and require separate authorisation and scope.
Does it replace Secure Score or a pentest?
No. Secure Score is one source; the report contextualises evidence and priorities across services. A configuration audit does not replace penetration testing or certify regulatory compliance.
How is the quote calculated?
Based on tenants, subscriptions, modules, resource volume and review depth. Scope and price are defined before starting, according to the characteristics of the environment.
Is improvement implementation available?
Improvement implementation is available as a subsequent advisory and remediation phase, quoted separately and coordinated with existing IT operations or suppliers.
